Looking for an easy breakfast that feels a little extra? These Bacon, Egg & Cheese Crescent Boats are it! Crescent rolls are shaped into little boats, then filled with an egg, shredded cheese, and crispy bacon before going into the oven. The eggs nestle right into the crescent rolls, and the finished boats are so cute and delicious that everyone will think you put in way more effort than you actually did.
They’re perfect for a weekend breakfast, brunch, or anytime you want to switch up the usual bacon and eggs.
📝 Ingredients
- 1 roll crescent rolls (crescent sheet works great if you can find one)
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (or bacon bits)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Dried chives, optional
👩🍳 Directions
- 1
Preheat oven to 400°F.
- 2
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and roll out the crescent dough.
- 3
Separate the dough into 4 rectangles. Press the seams together in the middle of each rectangle.
- 4
Roll up all four sides of each rectangle to create a little boat. This will help keep the egg inside.
- 5
Carefully crack one egg into each crescent boat. If a little of the egg white spills over the side, that’s okay.
- 6
Season with salt and pepper, then top each egg with shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
- 7
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and the crescent rolls are golden brown.
- 8
Top with dried chives, if desired, and enjoy!

💡 Tips for Success
- Use a crescent sheet if you can find one: It saves you from having to separate the dough and makes creating the four rectangles even easier.
- Don’t worry if some egg white escapes: A little may run over the edge when you crack the eggs into the boats, and that’s completely fine.
- Watch the eggs: Start checking around 10 minutes. If you prefer a firmer yolk, let them bake a little longer.
- Make them your own: Swap the cheese, add cooked sausage, or throw in your favorite breakfast toppings.
